Mangaluru, Dec 25 : Christmas is the festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. On the occasion of Christmas, students of St. Agnes CBSE School of grade III-IX here, organized a special interaction and social service programme in the month of December 2019. With proper planning students along with their teachers visited the various social service organizations and gave their service. They shared with their inmates grocery items i.e . rice, dal, pulses, snacks, biscuits, chocolates, cakes, juices, detergents and oral care products.

The following were the various social service organizations visited:

Students presented a short Christmas programme, sang Christmas carols, conducted various games and distributed prizes. They interacted with the inmates and listened to their grievances. The students were touched by the plight of the orphans, underprivileged, destitute and the people belonging to the marginalized section of the society. They left the organizations with a mixture of good feelings and sad emotions and thanked the Principal for organizing the outreach progamme.

The joy of being able to bless and give someone you care and make them smile is priceless.
