Mangaluru , July 13 : The inauguration of the Student Council of the Padua College of Commerce and Management for the year 2019-20 was held at college auditorium here on July 13, 2019.

Lieutenant Colonel Gracian Sequeira was the chief guest. Addressing the students he said, "the leaders are not formed by birth. Instead, it is only through practice and persistence that leadership can be built".

Principal of St Antony College Naravi, Fr Arun Lobo inaugurated the program. Rev Fr Vincent Monteiro , Correspondent of Padua Educational Institutions presided over the program and extended his best wishes to the students. The Principal of the college, Rev Fr Alwyn Serrao greeted the student leaders and administered the oath of cabinet. Vice-Principal of the college Roshan Santumayor was present.

President of the Student Council Melston Noronha said he would strive to successfully meet his implications and the challenges ahead. Secretary Aksha proposed vote of thanks. Student Mohit hosted the program. Various cultural programs were conducted by the students after the meeting.
