Mumbai, May 01: A South Asian meeting in preparation for FABC (Federation of Asian Bishop's Conference) 2020 was held in Mumbai on 29 and 30 April 2019.

Apostolic Nuncio Gian Battista di Quatro, Cardinal Oswald Gracias, Cardinal Allencherry, other five Archbishops and Bishops , representatives from various conferences were present from South Asia.

Auxiliary Bishop Alwyn D'Silva of Mumbai co-ordinated it efficiently. The three national presidents of religious brothers, priests and sisters and national secretary participated. Sr Rose Celine BS, Superior General of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangaluru, Karnataka participated in it in the capacity of President of National Conference of Religious (Women's section).

The challenges facing the church in Asia and our responses in order to make the church relevant to the times were discussed.
