Mangaluru, March 2 : On February 22, 2024, Nazareth School embraced the spirit of global unity and empathy as it celebrated World Thinking Day, an occasion to promote cultural understanding and cooperation. The event commenced with a soulful rendition of the Hindi prayer song “Dayakar Daan Bhatika” by the scouts and Guides, invoking blessings for compassion and service Mohammed Rihan from Grade 7 extended a warm welcome to all attendees, fostering a sense of camaraderie and inclusivity among students, teachers and guests. Olita from Grade 5 eloquently spoke about the significance of Worlds Thinking Day, emphasizing its role in promoting peace, understanding and acceptance across diverse cultures, Awwa from Grade 4 led the audience in reciting the World thinking Day pledge, reaffirming the commitment to making a positive difference in the world.

Cubs and bulbuls showcased a mesmerizing dance and drama portraying themes of friendship, cooperation and cultural diversity. The atmosphere was filled with patriotism as students delivered a rousing rendition of a patriotic song, stirring feelings of pride and unity among all present. Students dazzled the audience with a vibrant dance performance, celebrating the beauty of diversity and the joy of togetherness through rhythmic movements and choreography.

Program concluded by expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the celebration by Nirja Shetty of Grade 6.
