Belthangady, Nov 15, 2023 : 'Children are not things to be molded, but they are people to be unfolded'

Children's day was splendourly celebrated in Holy Redeemer School on November 15th in the school auditorium. The program began by seeking God's grace through a hymn sung by the Teachers. Teacher Mary Suja heartily welcomed the gathering.

To symbolise the school motto 'Light to life', a lamp was lit and to remark the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, floral tribute to the portrait was paid by Correspondent V. Rev. Fr. Walter D'Mello, Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto, PTA Vice President Mrs Supriya D'Souza, School Pupil Leader Dhravya Bhandary and Assistant School Pupil Leader Nijith.

Teacher Elvita Maria Pais spoke on the significance of Children's day on behalf of all Teachers and Student Janice Bennis of class 9 expressed her thoughts on Children's day on behalf of all Children.

Winners of class wise lucky games conducted on the occasion of Children's Day were felicitated.

Correspondent and Headmaster in their address, called on to the children to be responsible and dutiful towards their school, family and society. Teachers entertained the children through their wonderful dances and singing.

Teachers, Vidhyashree proposed the vote of thanks, Saritha Rodrigues announced the lucky winners names and Jonita Correa compered the program.

Program was successful by the cooperation and active involvement of all staff and concluded by serving refreshments.
