A Catholic shrine dedicated to Mother Mary in Diang, near Chittagong port city of Bangladesh beholds memories of early missionaries and early Christians who shed bloods for their faith nearly 500 years ago. The shrine was popularized by another great, Canadian missionary Holy Cross Brother Flavian Laplante in 1970s and it now attracts devotees from all over Bangladesh.
