May 21: Sts. Christopher Magallanes, Priest and Companions, Martyrs in Mexico
St. Christopher Magallanes and his 24 companions were martyred during the Cristero War in Mexico from 1926 to 1929. They were canonised by Pope John Paul II in the year 2000.
