Pamboor, June 17 : Fathers’ day was celebrated at Holy Cross Church here under the leadership of Family Commission on Sunday, 9th June, 2019. The celebration started with the Eucharistic Mass celebrated by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr Henry Mascarenhas.

A short programme was organized at the Silver Jubilee Memorial Hall to felicitate all the fathers of the Parish. Mr Leslie Aroza, Director of Family Commission Udupi was the resource person who spoke on the role of the fathers in upbringing the family. Sarita Ava, Convener of Family Commission of the Parish welcomed the gathering and also conducted entertaining games. Fr Henry Mascarenhas gave away the prizes to the winners and a Rosary as a token of gratitude to all present.

Secretary Gracy D’Souza delivered vote of thanks. Sarita D’Souza compered the programme. 110 was the count of fathers present.
