Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday is observed to commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with his disciples before his crucifixion. This day is also termed as priesthood day as this day he spread the message of serving one another. The Maundy Thursday service commenced at 5PM on March 28 at Holy Cross church, Pamboor. The service was led by the parish priest Rev.Fr.Henry Mascarenhas. During the mass Jesus's act of washing the feet of his disciples was symbolically enacted by washing the feet of 12 parishioners.

After the mass the holy sacrament was taken and placed at the altar of repose and adoration was held.

Good Friday 2024

Good Friday service included the cross ceremony involving the 14 stations of Jesus Christ and the Evening prayer service. The Way of Cross commenced from 10:30AM till 11:30AM on March 29.

The Evening service began at 4PM which included the Proclamation of Word of God, Special Prayers, Adoration of the Cross and Veneration,Holy Eucharist. The parish priest Rev.Fr.Henry Mascarenhas led the service and the parishioners took part in the ceremony with great devotion.
