Mangaluru, March 14 : Department of Paediatrics of Father Muller Medical College in association with Indian academy of Pediatrics , Dakshina Kannada branch successfully conducted a preconference workshop on Procedures in PICU as part of the 12th Annual conference of Intensive care chapter of Indian Academy of Paediatrics Karnataka Chapter and Mangalore Pedicon 2022 at Father Muller Simulation and Skill Centre on 11th March 2022.

Delegates from all over Karnataka participated in this hands-on workshop on Paediatric intensive care procedures.

Dr Shivakumar , Paediatric Intensivist from Manipal Hospital, Bangalore was the lead instructor. Dr Kumar , Neonatologist and Intensivist from HIMS, Hassan , Dr Shrishu Kamath from SIMS, Chennai , Dr J Prakash from BLDE, Bijapur and Dr Karthik Arigela , ASTER CMI Bangalore were the resource faculty.

Dr Lulu Sherif, Head of Healthcare Simulation Education at Father Muller Simulation Centre welcomed the delegates and Dr Shreedhara Avabratha , Head of department of Paediatrics, Father Muller Medical College, introduced the Resource Faculty. Dr Preetham Tauro, Assistant Professor, Department of Paediatrics, Father Muller Medical College was the coordinator for this full day workshop.
