Mangaluru , Nov 4 : The academic departments were blest and inaugurated by the Bishop of Mangalore and President of FMCI Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha on 1 November 2021. The Two departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (OB-GYN) and Paediatrics were blest in presence of the Management committee members and the heads of departments.

The New departments based in the Facility Block 4th Floor have been designed into the state of art academic sections which will be used by the faculty and postgraduates having staff bays and seminar rooms.

The fully air-conditioned departments were designed keeping in mind the requirements of the statutory bodies and making the environment stress free for the Faculty.

A small welcome note was presented by the Rev. Fr Richard A. Coelho Director FMCI, followed by blessings of the premise by the Bishop and Vote of thanks by Dr Deepa, Head of OB-GYN.

Rev Fr Ajith Menezes has been the toiler in making the departments, even as to design and help construct the Facility Block. Rev Fr Rudolph D’Sa Administrator FMMCH was present during the occasion.
