Mangaluru, Jun 14 : Indian Catholic Youth Movement Permannur unit celebrated Vanamahotsava – 2022 on 12th June 2022 in the church premises. Director and Parish priest Rev. Fr Cyprian Pinto presided over the programme. In his presidential speech he highlighted the importance of Vanamahotsava. State environment awardee Mr Madhav Ullal was the chief guest, who in his speech threw light on how to protect the environment and our responsibilities towards our environment.

Nirmala convent Superior Sr Alphonsa, Aloysius convent - Nehrunagar Superior Sr. Marriatte, Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Mr Maurice Monteiro and Secretary Mrs Philomena Dsouza, ICYM animators Sr Severine Fernandes and Mr Deril Dsouza were the other guests on the dais.

The programme began with the prayer song. President Ms Ashvia Anna Lasrado welcomed the gathering. The programme was inaugurated in a very creative way. Plants were distributed to the parishioners. Secretary Mr Dailesh Dsouza rendered the vote of thanks. Ms Flavitha Dsouza compered the programme.
