Madanthyar, Dec. 29: Indian Catholic Youth Movement Madanthyar, on the occasion of Christmas organized "Jingle Nite - 2018" on Tuesday, 25th of December 2018 in the premises of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church here. The Parish priest Rev. Fr Basil Vas was present as the President of the programme.

The programme was initiated with a grand procession held from Madanthyar town with the tableau presentation, Nasik band, puppet shows and fire show. Mr Vivek Vincent Pais, delivered a speech on birth of the Christ. Very Rev Fr Archibald Gonsalvaes was the main guest for the Jingle Nite along with ICYM Diocese Director Fr Ronald Dsouza, ICYM Mangalore Diocese President Jaison Pereira, the asst priest of Madanthyar Fr Alwyn Dsouza and Fr Alwyn Dsouza, SJ, Principal of S H PU college Fr Jerome Dsouza, Parish council vice president Ronald Sequera and Secretary Leo Rodrigues were the other guests present on the dais.

The president of ICYM Madanthyar Ronson veigas welcomed the gathering. The annual report was presented by the secretary of ICYM Madathyar Lavita Fernandes. There were many cultural programmes performed by various associations of the parish. The 9th Konkani drama written and directed by Tyson Dcunha and acted out by tarne kalakar madanthyar “Kon Konaso..?” was acted out at the end of the cultural programmes.

ICYM secretary Lavita Fernandes delivered the vote of thanks. The host of Nach Nara Nach Nari, Miss Sweeny Dsouza hosted the Jingle Nite 2018.
