Kirem, July 25  : ICYM Kirem unit organized "Ignite -2019 : Burn to Shine" , a one day programme for the youths of Our Lady of Remedies Church on Sunday, 21st July 2019 at Pompei Pre University College Auditorium here.

The programme commenced with a prayer song at 9:00AM. Mr. Makwyn Vas – President, ICYM Kirem unit welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr Victor Dmello - Parish Priest, Our Lady of Remedies Church, Kirem presided and inaugurated the programme along with Mr. Lanwin Lobo Urwa - Resource person of the day and the committee members.

Mr. Lanwin Lobo took up the session on the topic " Problems faced by youth in present days” . He motivated the parish youths by narrating his success story and asked them to be an inspiration to others.

Ms. Olvita Ancillla Dsouza - State Topper 2019 (Commerce) and Mr. Joyson Sandesh Lobo, Awardee, ICYM Awards 2019 by ICYM Central Council, Mangalore Diocese for Water Resource Management were felicitated during the occasion by Rev. Fr Victor Dmello.

Special Holy Eucharistic celebration and adoration were held for the parish youths. In the post lunch session, Youths were divided into 5 groups. Games, action songs, quiz and other activities were conducted. All the youths participated with great energy and enthusiasm. At the end, the programme concluded with the ICYM Anthem.
