Bantwal, March 13 : ICYM Loretto Unit organized Loretto Premier League - Season 3 for all the parishioners on 27th of February 2022. The inaugural ceremony commenced at 8:45 in the morning with a prayer song. 

Parish Priest Rev Fr Francis Crasta , Loretto English Medium Principal Rev Fr Jason Monis, Vice President of Pastoral Council Mr Roy Carlo , Secretary of Pastoral Council and Animator of ICYM Loretto unit Mr Alwyn Pinto, Amtady Grama Panchayat Member Mr Felix Dsouza, Team owners of 5 teams, ICYM Karnataka Region Lady Representative Ms Viola Lewis, President of ICYM Loretto Mr Lozil D'Souza, ICYM Sports Representative Mr Rimsal Dsilva were present.

Parish Priest addressed the gathering and inaugurated the tournament by handing over the flags as a symbol to represent their team to the team owners.

There were 5  teams : Team Rising Warriors - Owner Mr Prakash Vas, Team Dominators - Owner  Mr Sachin Noronha, Team United Strikers - Owner Mr Vivian Pinto, Team Redbacks - Owner Mr Roshan Crasta and Team Gladiators - Owner Mr Robin Barboza. There were  around 75 players playing for their  respective teams from the entire parish. It was a single day event with 14 league matches and playoffs.

For the Valedictory Ceremony, Loretto Nirmala Convent Superior Sr Agnes Andrade, Pastoral Council Ex Vice President Mr Issac Vas, Secretary of Pastoral Council and Animator of ICYM Loretto unit Mr Alwyn pinto, Catholic Sabha vice president Mr John Lasrado, Amtady Grama Panchayat Member Mr Felix Dsouza were present.
 
Team Rising Warriors emerged as Winners  of LPL Season 3  and Team RedBacks were bagged up the runners trophy. Individual  prizes were distributed as Best Bowler Mr Royston Crasta (Team Rising Warriors ), Best Batsman - Framan Fernandes (Team Redbacks) , Man of the series - Mr Gladson Fernandes (Team Rising Warriors). 

ICYM Loretto Unit President Lozil Dsouza rendered Vote of thanks. Jesvita Barboza and Viola Lewis compered the event .
