Mangaluru, Feb 4 : Centenary Memorial Mini Hall was inaugurated on Sunday 19th January 2020, after the morning mass at Our Lady of Pompei Church, Gurpur-Kaikamba near here. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Antony Lobo accompanied by parishioner Rev. Dr. Pius Fidelis Pinto, Parish Pastoral Parishad Vice President Sri. Richard Fernandes and Secretary Sri. Jerald Lobo inaugurated the mini hall by cutting the ribbon and lighting the lamp. Rev. Dr. Pius Fidelis Pinto read the Word of God and gave a befitting reflection. Meanwhile, he gave a brief history of the parish. Seeking grace of Holy Spirit, Rev. Fr. Antony Lobo blessed the Mini Hall with Prayers and sprinkling holy water.

Thereafter, during short stage programme, Secretary Sri. Jerald Lobo thanked and appreciated the parishioners who had helped for the construction work of this mini hall and specilally Sri. Lancy D’ Cunha & fly. in particular for their great contribution amounting to almost Rs. 10 Lakhs. He was felicitated by Rev. Fr. Antony Lobo with a shawl and flower bouquet. All those workers who rendered their labour and all those electricians & plumbers and few others who rendered free service to the hall under the leadership of Vice President Sri. Richard Fernandes were also thanked and appreciated with a rose.

On behalf of Parish Pastoral Parishad, sisters of Pompei Convent and Rosa Mystica Convent honoured Rev. Fr. Antony Lobo, Vice President Sri. Richard Fernandes and Secretary Sri. Jerald Lobo with shawl and flower bouquet. Soon after, Rev. Fr. Antony Lobo delivered a message briefing all the good developmental works carried out during the last 3 years and thanked each and everyone for their support & co-operation.

Upon thanking the Lord and Patron Pompei Mai, the gathering was served with refreshments.
