Fermai - Mangaluru, May 22, 2024 : ICYM Fermai unit organised the Fermai Premier League (FPL - 2024) on 19th May for all the parishioners at St. Antony school ground. Parish priest Rev Dr. Mark Castelino, Mr. Francis Coutinho, Parish council vice president Mrs.Clara Pinto and all committee coordinator Prashanth Saldanha, ICYM president Preston Lobo, ICYM secretary Jenisha Dsouza were present on the dais for the inaugural. Event was started with a prayer.

The chief guests and the team owners inaugurated the event by revealing the FPL-2024 trophy and declared the match open.

The 5 teams for the match were
Fermai Legends , Fermai Fighters, Fermai Royals, Fermai Kings United and Fermai Star Attackers.

Closing ceremony : The closing ceremony was held in the evening with Parish priest Rev Dr. Mark Castelino, Mr. Francis Coutinho, Parish council vice president Mrs.Clara Pinto, Secretary Mark Prakash Lobo and all committee coordinator Prashanth Saldanha as the dignitaries. ICYM president Preston Lobo welcomed the dignitaries. Parish priest and Francis Coutinho shared their opinions about the event. ICYM secretary Jenisha Dsouza gave the vote of thanks and thanked all the sponsors and supporters of the event. Sports Secretary member Jasmine Saldanha announced the winners of FPL 2024. Fermai Kings United owned by Winston Coutinho were the winners and Fermai Legends owned by Suraj Monteiro were the Runners up. Trophies for Man of the series, Best batsman, Best bowler, Fair play award were handed to winners by the dignitaries.
