Mangaluru, May 28 : The life of a priest is one of sacrifice and service. There is sacrifice, love abounds and even more. A priest is the shepherd of the flock entrusted to him and he leads his flock. Fr Paul Dsouza has won the hearts of all the Valencia parishioners within a years’ time and now the time has come for him to bid goodbye to Valencia parish. As a token of love and gratitude, a small farewell program was organized on May 28, 2023 after the 8 am mass.

Fr Paul addressing the gathering became very emotional as he had become very dear to Valencia parishioners. He thanked Fr Roque and Fr Vijay for supporting him in his journey at Valencia. He recalled their WhatsApp group Trinity which was created by him. They used to discuss their plans day to day. He also remembered them spending time together during their meal time. He also thanked the vice-president, secretary, all the parishioners and the staff working in the church.
