Moodbidri, Jan 1 : The people of St Francis Xavier Church, Saverapura gathered to give thanks to the Lord for all the blessings they received throughout the year , on the eve of 31st december 2022.

Adoration began at 7 pm. The adoration was led by Parochial Administrator Fr Rakesh Mathias. At 8 pm the thanksgiving mass began. The main celebrant was Redemptorist Father Alwyn Joyan Dcosta and was concelebrated by Fr Rakesh. Fr Alwyn Joyan preached a meaningful homily.

Newly elected Parish Pastoral Council Secretary Vincent Dsouza along with the other elected council members took oath of office witnessed by priests and the parishioners.

The celebration ended with refreshments and people wishing each other.
