Moodbidri, Dec 29 : Festivity of Christmas began at Holy Rosary Church Alangar near here, on 24th December 2019, with Carols by children choir led by Stephan Dias followed by church choir, for half an hour. At 7pm Solemn Eucharistic was celebrated which was presided over by Fr Maxim D'souza, professor, St Joseph Seminary, Mangaluru. He said Christmas is a feast of giving so let's make it meaningful by giving than taking.

Mass was followed by Christmas cultural eve. Altar servers, Marian Sodality, candidates of Good Shepherd convent and ICYM presented dances, skits, singing. Games, draws, auction were the attraction of the eve. Refreshments were served to all gathered. Mr Elroy Pereira made the eve interesting by his dynamic compering. Beautiful crib on road side put up by ICYM was the main attraction of Christmas.
