Moodbidri, Sep 3 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Moodbidri Unit, in collaboration with Red Drop Mangalore, Lady Goschen Hospital Mangalore, Mount Rosary Hospital Alangar, and Lions Club Alangar, organized a Blood Donation & Orthopaedic Medical Camp in loving memory of Late Greshion Rodrigues and Late Sylivia Mascarenhas on Sunday, 31st August 2025 at Corpus Christi Church Hall, Moodbidri.
The event was presided over by V. Rev. Fr. Onil D'Souza (Parish Priest of Corpus Christi Church, Moodbidri). The other dignitaries on stage included Mr. Vincent D'Souza (Vice President, Parish Council), Mr. Norbert Martis (Secretary, Parish Council), Sr. Mable Pasha (Administrator, Mount Rosary Hospital), Mr. Praveen Kumar (Camp Coordinator, Indian Red Cross Society, Lady Goschen Hospital, Mangalore), Mr. Ajay Rodrigues (Red Drop Representative, ICYM Mangalore Diocese), Mr. Amith D'Silva (President, Lions Club Alangar), Mr. Leo Rodrigues and Mrs. Veronica Rodrigues (parents of Late Greshion Rodrigues), and Mr. Galvin Pinto (Vice President, ICYM Moodbidri).

The program began with a welcome by Mr. Galvin Pinto, followed by a prayer led by Ms. Lonisha Cutinha and Ms. Lenisha Xavier. The camp was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.
V. Rev. Fr. Onil D'Souza highlighted the importance of blood donation in saving lives and conveyed his best wishes for the success of the camp.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Rolan Antony Lobo (Secretary, ICYM Moodbidri), and the program was beautifully compered by Ms. Divita Fernandes.
The camp was a great success, truly reflecting the community's spirit of service and togetherness.
