Cordel - Mangaluru, Sep 3 : ICYM Cordel unit celebrated its Platinum Jubilee on August 17, 2025. The celebration began with thanksgiving Eucharistic celebration at 4.30 pm, at Holy Cross Church, Cordel, Kulshekar, Mangalore , offered by Rev. Fr James D'souza, Vicar General, ICYM, St Peter City Deanery, Rev. Fr Clifford Fernandes, Parish Priest and Director of ICYM Cordel Unit, Rev. Fr Vijay Monteiro, Asst. Parish Priest and Asst. Director of ICYM Cordel Unit, Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha, Director, ICYM, St Peter City Deanery and the Parishioners.

The Stage programme began at 6.00pm at Cordel Church Hall. The dignitaries were then escorted to the dais by ICYM Vice President, Jayden D'cunha and ICYM Lady Vice President, Jovita D'souza. Distinguished guests included Rev. Fr James Dsouza, Rev. Fr Praveen D'souza, Designated Director, ICYM, Mangalore Diocese , Rev. Fr Clifford Fernandes, Rev. Fr Vijay Monteiro, Rev. Fr Denzil Lobo, Ms Ruth Castelino, Vice President, Parish Pastoral Council, Mr Anil D'sa, Secretary, Parish Pastoral Council, Mr Dolphy D'souza, Coordinator of govlik commission, Mr Vijoy Cardoza, President, ICYM, Mangalore Diocese, Mr Rayan Noronha, President, ICYM, St Peter City Deanery, Mr Winston Sequeira, Representative, ICYM, St Peter City Deanery, Mr Jayden D'cunha, President, ICYM, Cordel Unit.

Ms Jovita D'souza, Lady Vice President, welcomed the gathering . The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr Jayden D'cunha, President, ICYM, Cordel Unit. Ms Rishal Melisha Crasta, Secretary, read the annual report. At the end ICYM Anethem was sung. The stage event was convened by Ms Sweedal and the cultural event was convened by Ms Janice.
