Sampige - Moodbidri, Aug 29 : The ICYM unit of Holy Spirit Church Sampige, organized the most anticipated 'Pavsa Gammath - 2025', a monsoon special food items event, on 24th August 2025 at 12:00pm in the Sampige Parish hall.

The event began with a prayer song sung by the ICYM members, summoning the divine powers of the Almighty.

Gracing the dais were Rev. Fr.Prem Prakash Dsouza , Mr. Roshan Fernandes, the Secretary of PPC; Mrs. Gracy Dsouza ICYM animator; Mr. Prinson Pinto ICYM Moodbidri Deanery President, Ms.Joylin Cordero , President of ICYM Sampige.
The dignitaries were welcomed by the ICYM president, Ms. Joylin Cordero by giving the Flower Bouquet, bestowed upon them in recognition of their presence.

Rev. Father Prem Prakash Dsouza gave the Presidential Address, highlighting the significance of the occasion-emphasized the importance of monsoon season food in the midst of our everyday life.

As part of the inauguration ceremony, Lighting the lamp took place.

To delight the crowd spot games related to Monsoon season were Conducted by Lerissa Sanctis, the participants enjoyed playing it with great enthusiasm.

There were 18 Monsoon Food items which were managed and taken initiative for cooking the food items by ICYM members.

A vote of thanks was delivered by Tharun Cardoza , ICYM Treasurer acknowledging the dignitaries and all the contributors who were present, with ceremonial Memento. A word of gratitude was extended towards Mr. Justin Roche for sounds, Levin Dsouza for shooting the reels, Trust caters Manager Avil Dsouza for Providing utensils. And also thanked all the ICYM members. The event was compered by Ms. Liona Dsouza, who ensured the smooth flow of the programme.

The programme concluded with a joyful mood.
