Bantwal, Aug 30, 2025 : On 17th August, ICYM Bantwal organized “Ekklesia”, a special youth program for all the youth of Infant Jesus Church Modankap at the church Hall. The event began at 8:45 AM with the presence of Rev. Fr. Victor Dsouza Parish Priest, Fr. Lancy Dsouza Asst. Parish Priest, Fr. Melwyn Lobo Headmaster, Infant Jesus School, Mr. Manohar D’Costa Secretary, Pastoral Council, Mr. John Gomes Correspondent, Youth Commission, Ms. Venna Goveas Coordinator, 19 Commissions, Mr. Sunil Lewis ICYM Animator, Mr. Melroy Dsouza ICYM President, and Mr. Melroy Dsouza ICYM Secretary as esteemed guests on the dais.

The inauguration of the program was done by the chief guest Rev. Fr. Victor Dsouza, followed by a brief welcome session by Melroy Dsouza, ICYM President. The program was beautifully hosted by Vinisha Lobo as the MC.

As part of the celebration, the former ICYM President Rickson Tauro and Secretary Ashwin Lobo were felicitated for their contributions. At 9:15 AM, breakfast and registration were arranged for all the participants.

At 9:45 AM, Dr. Vincent Crasta delivered an engaging talk on Leadership and Time Management, which provided valuable insights and motivated the youth. Along with the talk, interactive games were conducted to keep the session lively and engaging.

Following this, the ICYM committee members organized fun and interactive games for all participants, ensuring enthusiastic involvement from everyone. At 1:00 PM, a delicious lunch was served.

Post-lunch, the program continued with more fun games and a prize distribution ceremony, adding to the excitement of the day. Before the final session, a special reel featuring all the youth present was created, capturing the joyful moments of the event. The celebration concluded on a high note with a lively DJ session, leaving the 85 and above youth participants with unforgettable memories.

Overall, “Ekklesia” was a grand success, bringing the youth together for a day of learning, fun, and fellowship.
