Madanthyar, Aug 30, 2025 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Madanthyar Unit, in association with the Youth Commission and YCS, organized Youth Pulse 2025 for all the youth of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar. The event took place in the Basement Hall, Madanthyar, beginning right after the first mass, with breakfast provided for all attendees.

The event commenced with a stage program featuring several dignitaries: Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Stany Goveas, Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Larry Pinto, Chief Guest Mr. Vincent Rodrigues, Guest speaker Dr. Mona Jacqueline Mendonca, Parish Pastoral Parishad Vice President Mr. Jerald Moras, Secretary Mr. Nelson Lasrado and ICYM Animator Mr. William Sequeira, Ms. Wilma Pinto, YCS Unit Animator Mr. Nishal Lobo and Mrs. Lezwin Andrade, Deanery President Mr. Jaison Rodrigues, and Vice President Mr. Preetham Lobo.

The inauguration was symbolized by Rev. Fr. Stany Goves and all the guests. The ICYM Unit Vice President Ms. Elvita Viona Dsouza welcomed everyone, setting a positive and enthusiastic tone for the day. The Parish Priest addressed the gathering. Then the chief guest gave a talk and wished good luck to all the youths. A note of gratitude was expressed to everyone involved in making the event possible.

The guest speaker, Dr. Mona Jacqueline Mendonca, delivered an insightful talk on decision-making skills, emphasizing the importance of making wise and thoughtful choices.

The Ms.Viola Lewis Deanery representative from the diocese conducted various games and action songs to promote teamwork and leadership among the participants. The youth participated enthusiastically, making the activities lively, fun, and engaging.

After the prize distribution, the program concluded with the ICYM anthem. Refreshments were served, marking the end of a successful and enriching day.

Youth Pulse 2025 turned out to be a grand success, with around 165 youth in attendance, providing a platform for young people to gain valuable skills. The event truly succeeded in empowering the youth and fostering a sense of unity and purpose.
