Gantalkatte - Moodbidir, Aug 22 : On Sunday, August 17, 2025, the ICYM Gantalkatte Unit, in association with Mandd Sobhann, Celebrated ‘Konkani Manyata Divas’. The programme was inaugurated with the hoisting of the flag by Rev. Fr. Ronald Prakash D’Souza, Parish Priest and Director, along with Mr. Sunil Miranda, Vice President of the Parish Council, and Mr. Alwyn Menezes, Convenor of the Pastoral Commissions. Mr. Roydon Menezes compered the programme.
The youth performed a street play which highlighted the richness of the Konkani language and celebrated its growth and importance within the community. Through this cultural performance, the youth showcased their pride in preserving and promoting Konkani heritage for future generations.
