Kayyar - Kasaragod, Aug 21 — The Christ King Youth Moment (CKYM) Kayyar organized a full-day fun-filled event 'Udka Sambhram -2025' for all the parishioners of Christ King Church, Kayyar on August 17, 2025 at the church ground. The programme, held from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, was marked by enthusiastic participation and joyful fellowship.

The event was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Vishal Monis, Parish Priest of Christ King Church Kayyar and Director of CKYM Kayyar unit as well as ICYM Kasaragod Deanery. Sr. Reena Serrao, Superior of Kayyar Convent, Mrs. Zeena D'Souza, Secretary of the Parish Council, Mr. Ronald Chethan, President of ICYM Kasaragod Deanery, along with Mr. Anson Isaac Suvares and Mr. Austin Rodriguez, President and Secretary of CKYM Kayyar Unit, were the guests of honour for the occasion.

The day was filled with exciting water-themed competitions such as Water with Plate and Cup, Bottle Filling, Straw and Water and many more. Parishioners participated ward-wise, with children, youth, and elders taking part with great enthusiasm and energy. The vibrant spirit of the participants created an atmosphere of unity and joy throughout the event.

During the concluding ceremony, the Parish Priest honored the sponsors with tokens of appreciation and felicitations. Prizes were also distributed to the winners of the various competitions.

The 'Udka Sambhram- 2025' proved to be a day of fun, laughter and togetherness, strengthening the bond among parishioners and highlighting the spirit of one family in Christ.
