Vittal, Aug 23 : ICYM Vittal Unit organized an orientation programme for the parish youth -'YUVA PARZAL 2025’ and ‘PAVSA KHEL’ event, on August 17th 2025, at Centenary Community Hall, Our Lady of Dolours Church, Vittal. The event began at 08.45am with registrations and breakfast.

The ICYM President Rolf Vinay Dsouza escorted the guests to the dais. The Parish Priest Very Rev. Fr Ivan Michael Rodrigues, ICYM Director Rev. Fr Amith Prakash Rodrigues, Resource Person Mr Winston Anil Lobo, Vice President, Parish Pastoral Parishad Mr R. Vijay Pais, Co- Ordinator, Parish Pastoral Parishad Mr Robert Mascarenhas, Nominated Member of Small Christian Community & BEC Commission Co- Ordinator Mr Francis Mascarenhas, Animator Smt. Sharel Vaz, Past Animator of ICYM Mr Thomas Mascarenhas, President, St. John Paul II Vittal Deanery Dilroy Mascarenhas, President, Vittal Unit Rolf Vinay Dsouza, Secretary, Vittal Unit Caveen Prashanth Pinto were present on the dais.

Representative Vittal Deanery of 2023-24 Wilson Pinto, Regional Representative Ashlin Dsouza, the Denary member Keeth Lobo also took part in the Program.

The event began with a meaningful prayer service, invoking God's blessings for the success of the programme. This was followed by the unveiling of the banner of 'YUVA PARZAL-2025’. The ICYM Vittal unit president Mr. Rolf Vinay Dsouza welcomed the gathering. The parish priest Very Rev. Fr Ivan Michael Rodrigues delivered the presidential address.

The event was then taken over by the resource person of the day, Mr. Winston Anil Lobo. The sessions focused on the Self Confidence Building and Activities.

After the lunch the 'PAVSA KHEL 2025' was held in the St Rita school ground Vittal, Conducted by the Representative of Vittal Denary and Executive Member of Vittal unit.

Caveen Prashanth Pinto the secretary of the ICYM Vittal unit delivered the vote of thanks. The event witnessed the active participation of 70 people.
