Kinnigoli, Aug 21 : Synergy 2025 a vibrant youth convention organized by ICYM St. Jude Mangalore North Deanery in collaboration with the ICYM Kateel Unit was held on August 10, 2025, at St. Jacob Church Hall, Kateel. The event began at 9:00 AM, bringing together more than 100 youth from seven different units, each represented by their respective unit presidents and secretaries.
The program began with a flag-holding ceremony, symbolizing the unity among the participating units. Flags were held by the presidents and secretaries of each unit, along with the Deanery President and Secretary.
The event was honored by several dignitaries:

The gathering opened with a short prayer invoking God’s blessings for a meaningful and fruitful day. Mr. Chaswin Tauro, Deanery President, warmly welcomed everyone, expressing gratitude for their presence and support in making Synergy 2025 a reality.
The inaugural ceremony featured the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the beginning of the event with wisdom and positivity. The moment was made even more special with the launch of the new ICYM North Deanery logo by the dignitaries.
During the program, a special moment was dedicated to felicitating Mr. Floyd Pinto who was recently elected as Joint Secretary of the Mangalore Diocese. The Gathering warmly applauded this achievement, acknowledging their commitment and contribution to ICYM.
Mr. Colin Baptist Dsouza, Deanery Secretary delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone for their participation and support in making the event a success.
Dr. Maria Pramila led an engaging and interactive session on financial management, equipping the youth with practical insights on earning, saving, and spending money wisely - a skill set vital for today's generation.
The group then participated in a Holy Mass, offering a moment of spiritual renewal and thanksgiving as part of the day’s program.
A fellowship lunch was served at 1:00 PM, allowing participants to connect informally, share experiences, and build new friendships.
The afternoon came alive with ice-breaker games and team-building activities, led by Stallan Serrao, Chaswin Tauro, Colin D'Souza, and Brayan Pereira. These sessions encouraged participation, laughter, and collaboration, fostering bonds among the youth.
The program concluded with a valedictory ceremony where participants shared their reflections and experiences. A heartfelt vote of thanks acknowledged the support and encouragement of the dignitaries, the dedication of the organizing committee, and the enthusiastic involvement of all the young attendees.
Synergy 2025 was not just a gathering, but a celebration of unity, leadership, and youthful energy within the Mangalore North Deanery, leaving a lasting impact on the youth.
