Bondel - Mangaluru, Aug 12, 2025 : The ICYM Bondel Unit successfully organized Pavsa Khel 2025, a vibrant inter-ward monsoon-themed water games event, on Sunday, 27th July at 2:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence English Medium School premises.
The event began with a prayer song, followed by a unique and joyful inauguration by Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D'Souza, Parish Priest of Bondel. ICYM President Anson Rego welcomed the dignitaries and presented roses as a token of appreciation.
Over 21 wards actively participated in various water games, cultural dances, and competitions for all age groups. Ashton D'Souza from City Varado hosted the event and clearly explained the rules.

Rev. Fr Peter and Rev. Fr Andrew appreciated the event's spirit of unity and youth leadership. A special birthday celebration was held for Rev. Fr Lawrence Cutinha.
Vote of Thanks was delivered by Jeslin Ninora, acknowledging all contributors, including Ashton, sound system, DJ, Devi Caterers, Cherish Events, and the ICYM team. The program was efficiently compered by Ms Preemal Saldanha, and judged by the City Varado Executive Committee.
The event ended on a joyful note with mementos presented to the organizing team and vibrant performances by YCS and ICYM members.
