Madanthyar, Aug 8, 2025 : ICYM unit of Sacred Heart Church Madanthyar conducted "Aathinth Ek Dees – A day in the field" event on Sunday, August 3rd. The event began at 9:30 AM with an inaugural program.

The attendees included Parish Priest Fr. Stany Goveas, Assistant Parish Priest Fr. Larry Pinto, Fr. Ashwath Dsouza from Asha Deepa, the Convent Sisters, ICYM Animators William and Wilma, the President, and Mr. Ajay Rodrigues, the Red Drop Coordinator from the Mangalore Diocese.

The event kicked off with various games categorized by age groups. Many actively participated, while others enjoyed as spectators, making it a joyful and lively day in the field. Lunch was served to all participants and attendees.

Games continued till 5:30 PM, and the day concluded with smiles, laughter, and plenty of memories for everyone present.

Games included:
100-meter race (Men & Women) , Couple games,
Team games like: Water bottle game , Coconut passing , Relay race, Tug of war, Govinda Sparde, Treasure hunt in the field.

An overall championship was also held, adding to the excitement of the event.
