Permannur - Mangaluru, Aug 8 : The Catholic Sabha Permannur Unit, and ICYM Permannur jointly organized an MC and Speech Training Program on 3rd August 2025 at St. Sebastian English Medium School Hall, Permannur, from 10:00 AM onwards.

The prayer service was led by the organizing team. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. Melwin C. D'Souza, President of the Catholic Sabha Permannur Unit.
Dignitaries on the dais included Very Rev. Fr. Cyprian Pinto (Vicar Var, St. Joseph Vaz Mangalore South Varado), Mr. Arun D'Souza (Vice President, Parish Pastoral Council Permannur), Mr. Dolphy D'Souza (President, Varado Catholic Sabha Permannur), and Mr. Pramith D'Souza (President, ICYM Permannur).

The program was officially inaugurated by Very Rev. Fr. Cyprian Pinto, who also presided over the event.
Very Rev. Fr. Cyprian Pinto addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of strong communication and leadership among youth, encouraging them to be confident speakers and active parish members.

The training session was conducted by Mrs. Leeza Kiran Rodrigues, who served as the resource person and led interactive workshops on public speaking and compering. The introduction of the chief guest was done by Ms. Preemal D'Souza, Secretary of ICYM Permannur.

The program was conducted by Mrs. Jyothi D'Souza From Permannur . The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Leslie Ferrao, Secretary of the Catholic Sabha Permannur. The program witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 150 youth members from the local community.
