Ferar - Mangaluru, Aug 8 : ICYM Ferar Unit organized an orientation programme for the parish youth -'Yuva Parzal 2025', on August 3rd 2025, at St. Francis Xavier Church hall Ferar. The event began at 9.30 a.m. with registrations and breakfast.

The ICYM Executive committee escorted the guests to the dais. The Parish Priest Rev. Fr. James Dsouza, Fr. Rupesh Madtha, Parish Pastoral Parishad Vice President Mr. William Dsouza and Secretary Mr. Henry Mascharenas, ICYM Ferar Animator Mr. Roshan Santhumayor and YCS Ferar Animator Mr. Mark Pereira were present on the dais.

The event began with a meaningful prayer service followed by the lighting of the lamp as a symbol of knowledge hope and new beginning. The ICYM Ferar unit president Ms. Leona Cutinha welcomed the gathering. The parish priest Rev. Fr. James Dsouza delivered the presidential address.

The event was taken over by the resource person of the day Rev. Fr. Rupesh Madtha who engaged the youth with meaningful group discussions and fun activities.

ICYM St. Simon Pezar Deanery, Director Rev. Fr. Jesudas Dcosta along with the Executive committee members, visited and encouraged the youth.

Ransan Mendonca the secretary of the ICYM Ferar unit delivered the vote of thanks. The whole program was smoothly compered by Ms. Jenisha Rosario. The event witnessed the active participation of 50 attendees.
