Mangaluru, Aug 3 : ICYM Jeppu Unit in collaboration with YCS Jeppu held "Yuva Sahamilan 2K25" event at St. Joseph's Nataka Sabha Hall, Jeppu on 27th July 2025.
Opening Formalities
The program commenced with a soulful prayer song led by the youth, invoking God's blessings for the success of the event.
Following this, a warm welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Reshma Penha, President of ICYM Jeppu, who greeted the dignitaries and participants and encouraged active participation in the day's events.

Inaugural Ceremony
The event was formally inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Maxim D'Souza through a ribbon-cutting ceremony, symbolizing the official launch of Yuva Sahamilan 2K25.
Address to the Gathering
In his address, Fr. Maxim D'Souza emphasized the significance of youth involvement in both Church and community life. He commended the ICYM team for their dedication and efforts in organizing the program.
Program Proceedings
Mr. Sean was welcomed as the new Co-Animator of ICYM Jeppu with a token of appreciation.
A brief birthday celebration was held for ICYM Animator Mr. Michael D'Souza, adding a joyful note to the gathering.
Mrs. Juliet D'Souza conducted a motivating and interactive session on "Positive Mindset and Mental Health," where she highlighted the importance of mental well-being and cultivating optimism.
Mr. Michael D'Souza addressed the youth on the value of active engagement in Church activities.
Br. Manoj facilitated an interactive question-and-answer session, encouraging the youth to express their views and raise thoughtful questions.
A variety of fun-filled games, quizzes, and activities were organized by Josna, Lavaron, Sean, and Arvin, promoting teamwork and creativity. Prizes were distributed to winners as a form of encouragement.
The ECD team animated a lively action song session, energizing the audience and adding excitement to the program.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of Class 8 up to senior ICYM members. Sisters and teachers were also present, adding their support and blessings to the day.
Breakfast, lunch, and ice cream were provided to all attendees as part of the hospitality and fellowship.
Closing
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Elvis Lobo, Secretary of ICYM Jeppu, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, resource persons, volunteers, and participants for their valuable presence and contributions.
The program was emceed by Ms. Divya Penha, ICYM Cultural Representative, who ensured the smooth and engaging flow of the entire event.
