Mangaluru, July 31 : On July 28, 2025, the ICYM Central Council, Mangalore Diocese, held a significant meeting with Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha at the Bishop's House, Mangalore.

Key Highlights of the Meeting
The meeting began with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome from Vijoy Ashwin Cardoza, President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese. The council members introduced themselves to the Bishop, after which Fr Ashwin Cardoza the Director of ICYM highlighted the Bishop's kindness and social service.

Bishop's Inspirational Message
He underlined the significance of forming networks with authoritative and impactful personalities in society.

He urged the youth to strive for the betterment of society by leveraging strong networks. Engaging with government leaders helps establish trust and provides valuable insights, said the Bishop.

Expressions of Gratitude and Future Plans
Fr Ashwin Cardoza thanked the Bishop for his valuable time and insights, while Vijoy Ashwin Cardoza shared a brief vision for the upcoming year's activities.

Launch of Yuva Sampark
The highlight of the event was the launch of Yuva Sampark, with the trailer released by Bishop of Mangalore, Most Rev. Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha. The YouTube channel and podcast trailer were inaugurated with an amazing riddle.

The previous Red Drop Coordinator explained the working of the Red Drop website and app to the Bishop.

Viola Lewis, the Regional MIJARC Coordinator, shared her experience of witnessing Christ during pivotal moments in her life.

Maria Dsilva, the Secretary of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, acknowledged and appreciated the presence of everyone at the meeting.
