Balkunje - Kinnigoli, July 22 : On 22nd June 2025, ICYM Balkunje Unit organized 'FLAME 2.O 2025' for all the parish youth.
The program commenced after Mass with a stage event. Rev. Fr. Cyprian Lewis presided over the program, and Rev. Fr. Ashwin Cardoza, Director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, was the guest of honour for the day.

Other dignitaries present on the dais included Dr. Freeda Rodrigues, Vice President of the Parish Council; Mrs. Nancy Cardoza, Secretary of the Parish Council; Mrs. Lavina Serrao, Convenor of the Pastoral Commissions; Sr. Felcin, Superior of the Convent, Balkunje; Mrs. Sunitha Pinto, Animator of YCS Balkunje Unit; along with Neha Serrao, President of ICYM Balkunje, and Deola Risha Dsouza, Joint Secretary of ICYM Balkunje.

Fr. Ashwin Cardoza was honoured for his recent appointment as the Regional Secretary of the Karnataka Regional Youth Commission and the Regional Youth Director for the ICYM Karnataka Region.

The first workshop was conducted by Fr. Ashwin Cardoza, where various topics related to ICYM and its handbook were discussed. It was an interactive session that helped the youth understand the benefits of being part of ICYM. Fr. Ashwin also shared insightful perspectives on life, dividing the participants into four groups and conducting a few competitions.

After lunch, various games were organized for the youth by Ms. Melreeda Rodrigues.

Deola Risha Dsouza delivered the vote of thanks, and the program was compered by Allan Sequeira.
