Moodbidri, July 16 : Carmel School, Moodbidri celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on 15th July 2025 with great devotion, joy, and a spirit of togetherness.

The feast celebration took place in the auditorium with a well-organized cultural programme presented by the talented students of Grade 7. The event commenced with a devout prayer service, creating a sacred atmosphere. A vibrant and graceful welcome dance was performed, followed by a warm welcome speech delivered by Mischelle Clara Dsouza and Ahana G. Kulal, who greeted the dignitaries and audience with heartfelt words.

The significance of the day was effectively presented by Jerwin James Mendonca and team, who enlightened the audience on the meaning and importance of the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. This was followed by a touching and thoughtful skit on the theme “Scapular of Protection,” emphasizing faith, trust, and the maternal care of Our Lady.

The stage programme was graced by the presence of the following dignitaries:

A heartfelt vote of thanks was proposed by D.S. Varun Shridhar, who appreciated all the contributors to the successful celebration. The event was smoothly compered by Manvith Bandary and Raizal Ciyana Serrao, who kept the programme engaging and well-paced.

The celebration concluded on a unifying note with the singing of the School Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and spiritual fulfillment.
