Pezar, June 27 : The ICYM Pezar Deanery Election for the year 2025–26 was successfully conducted on 15th June 2025 at 3:00 PM at St. Francis Xavier Church Hall, Ferar. The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. James D'Souza, Parish Priest, Ferar, and Rev. Fr. Jesudas D'Costa, Director, ICYM Pezar Deanery. Also in attendance were ICYM Diocesan President Winston Sequeira and DEXCO members.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Josvita D'Souza, President, ICYM Pezar Deanery followed by the presentation of the Annual Report by Sony D'Souza, Secretary of ICYM Pezar Deanery, and the Annual Accounts Report by Levin Cutinha, Treasurer.

The election was held in accordance with the guidelines of the ICYM Handbook and was overseen by Diocesan President Winston Sequeira. Following the successful election, an oath-taking ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. Jesudas D'Costa, officially inducting the newly elected team into their respective roles. The office bearers pledged to serve the youth community with dedication, integrity, and commitment to the values of ICYM.

The event concluded with inspiring messages from the dignitaries, followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks and prayers for the success of the new leadership. Around 30 ICYM members were present at the event. The programme was efficiently compered by Vinola Moras.
