Mangaluru, June 27 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) St. Joseph Vaz Mangalore South Deanery, held its Annual General Meeting of 2024–25 and Executive Committee Elections for 2025–26 on June 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Mary, Queen of the Universe Church Hall, Ranipura .

The program commenced with a prayer service. The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Jayaprakash Dsouza – Director of ICYM Mangalore South Deanery, Avit Premson Lobo - Red Drop coordinator, Wilson Pinto - Social Cause Secretary, Riana Dcuhna - Lady Vice President, Sharvin Dsouza - PRO from ICYM Central Council, Mangalore Diocese.

Flinton Cutinha , President of ICYM Mangalore south Deanery, extended a warm welcome to the gathering. Melisha Dsouza - Secretary, presented the Annual Report & Johnson Dsouza – Treasurer presented the Annual Financial Report for 2024–25.

The election proceedings were conducted smoothly under the guidance of Avith Premson Lobo and Wilson Pinto , who also briefed on the responsibilities associated with each leadership role.

Post-election, Rev. Fr. Jayaprakash Dsouza led the oath-taking ceremony. The outgoing executive committee (2024–25) officially handed over their responsibilities to the newly elected members. Flinton Cutinha expressed his heartfelt thanks for the support he received during his tenure. The newly elected president, Rishal Dsouza, shared her gratitude and enthusiasm for the opportunity to serve. Clitus Sequeira delivered the vote of thanks, and the program concluded with the ICYM theme song.
