Mangaluru, June 20 : The ICYM Episcopal City Deanery (ECD) elected its new office bearers for the year 2025-2026. The election was held on June 15th, 2025 at Our Lady of Miracles, Milagres Church Hall at 5:30PM. The election was overseen by Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth – Vicar Forane of ECD, Mr. Winston Joel Sequeira Dsouza - President of Central Council, Diocese of Mangalore and Ms. Ashlin Dsouza – General Secretary of Central Council, Diocese of Mangalore, Mr. Mithesh Dsouza - Immediate Past President of Central Council, Diocese of Mangalore & ECD Representative.

The election began with the Prayer led by the Executive team and the members of kulur Unit. Ms. Sonali Rodrigues – Outgoing Lady Vice President of ECD was the moderator for the day. Ms.Suzannha Ferrao – Outgoing President of ECD for the year 2025-2026 welcomed the gathering. Ms. Muriel Mascharenas - outgoing Secretary of ECD presented the report of all the activities and events organised during the year 2024-2025.

Mr.Mithesh Dsouza – Immediate Past President of Central Council & ECD Representative briefed the rules and regulations of the elections followed by explaining the roles and responsibilities of Executive Committee Members. Elections were held peaceably, and the new executive committee was formed.

The oath-taking ceremony took place after the election. Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth administered the oath, emphasizing the commitment to selfless service and dedication towards the association's goals.

Vice President Female - Ms. Kushi Dilma
Secretary - Ms. Neha Maria Dsouza
Joint Secretary - Ms. Sonali Helvita DSouza
Treasurer - Mr. Joel Melroy Alfred
Amcho Yuvak Pratinidhi - Ms.Sandhya Dsouza
Red Drop Representative - Mr. Collin Ferrao
Immediate Past President - Ms. Suzannha Ferrao

After the election, Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth addressed and motivated the youth and emphasized on dedication and service towards our society.

Mr. Winston and Mr. Mithesh too addressed the gathering and inspired Youth to gear up as a team and organise more and more events and build the community.

Ms.Suzannha Ferrao - outgoing president expressed her gratitude towards the entire executive team and the youth of the deanery for supporting her throughout the year.

The newly elected president Listan Pinto spoke a few words asking for support for this year.

Ms.Neha Dsouza - Outgoing ECD Joint secretary expressed her gratitude towards everyone who helped towards organising the election.
The meeting ended by singing the ICYM anthem.
