Vittal, June 18 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) St. John Paul II Vittal Deanery, in association with the ICYM Borimar Unit, organized its Annual General Meeting and Election on June 8, 2025 at Borimar.

The program commenced with a prayer, followed by a formal welcome to the dignitaries on the dais:
* Rev. Fr. Anil Canute D’Mello – ICYM Vittal Deanery Director
* Rev. Fr. Patrick Sequeira– Parish Priest, Borimar
* Ms.Visha D’Souza – Vice President, ICYM Borimar
* Mr. Winston Joel Sequira– President, ICYM Mangalore Diocese
* Mr. Wilson Pinto – Social Cause Secretary, Deanery Representative, ICYM Mangalore Diocese
* Executive Committee Members of ICYM Vittal Deanery
* Executive Committee Members of ICYM Mangalore Diocese

Mr.Prithesh Lobo, President, welcomed the gathering warmly. The Secretary, Mr.Rithesh Lobo, presented the annual report for the year
2024-25, and Mr. Joshua Baptist -Treasurer, Detailed the Income and Expenditure for the same period.

Following this, the ICYM Vittal Deanery Director and ICYM Mangalore Diocese President Mr. Winston Sequira, along with his Executive Committee Members Conducted the Elections for the year 2025-26. Before Election he briefed about the office bearers post and their responsibilities and conducted the election smoothly.

Mr. Winston Sequira Addressed the Youth, Motivating and inspiring them to be active participants in the mission and vision of ICYM.

A Post-Handover Ceremony was held where the Newly Elected members took their oath and officially assumed their respective responsibilities.

Mr.Prithesh Lobo, Immediate Past President, Expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all members for their unwavering support and teamwork during his tenure. As a token of appreciation, mementos were presented to the outgoing executive members and the dignitaries on stage.

The newly elected President, Mr.Dilroy, shared a few words, seeking support and unity for the upcoming year 2025-26.

Deanery director Fr. Anil Dmello, V. Rev. Fr. Ivan Michael Rodrigues– Parish Priest, Vitla addressed the youth and wished them for the upcoming year.

Wilson Pinto, Deanery Representative from Central Council, shared his experience and addressed the youth.
The event concluded with the singing of the ICYM Anthem, marking the end of a meaningful and fruitful gathering.
