Moodbidri, June 4 : The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) St. Matthew Deanery, Moodbidri, held its Annual General Meeting of 2024–25 and Executive Committee Elections for 2025–26 on June 1, 2025, at 4:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Church Hall, Moodbidri.

The program commenced with a prayer service. The event was graced by the presence of V. Rev. Fr. Onil Dsouza – Director of ICYM Moodbidri Deanery, Reena Anjali Crasta – Treasurer of ICYM Mangalore Diocese& Moodbidri Deanery Representative, Elvin Prashanth Dcunha - Amcho Yuvak Editor of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Rianna Dcunha - Lady Vice President of ICYM Mangalore Diocese and Dr. Joyston Dsouza - Joint Secretary of ICYM Mangalore Diocese.

Javin Dsouza, President of ICYM Moodbidri Deanery, extended a warm welcome to the gathering. Glany Vinita Colaco, Secretary, presented the Annual Report, while Bredly Cutinha, nominated member, delivered the Annual Financial Report for 2024–25. Following this, the prizes for the competitions conducted over the year were also distributed.

The election proceedings were conducted smoothly under the guidance of Reena Anjali Crasta and Elvin Prashanth Dcunha, who also briefed on the responsibilities associated with each leadership role.

Post-election, V. Rev. Fr. Onil Dsouza led the oath-taking ceremony. The outgoing executive committee (2024–25) officially handed over their responsibilities to the newly elected members. Javin Dsouza expressed his heartfelt thanks for the support he received during his tenure. The newly elected president, Prinson Pinto, shared his gratitude and enthusiasm for the opportunity to serve.

Reena Anjali Crasta addressed the youth, highlighting upcoming programs of ICYM Mangalore Diocese. In his presidential address, V. Rev. Fr. Onil Dsouza reflected on key takeaways from the annual report and encouraged the youth to actively participate in all deanery-level initiatives.

Steffi Venessa Miranda and Nishal Dsilva ably compered the program. Glany Vinita Colaco delivered the vote of thanks, and the program concluded with the ICYM theme song.
