Puttur, June 4 : On June 1, 2025, ICYM St. Paul Eastern Deanery Puttur held its Annual General Body Meeting and Executive Committee Election for the 2025-2026 term at Mai De Deus Church Hall, Puttur.

Event Highlights:
The program, which began with a prayer service, saw the presence of Rev. Fr. Rupesh Raveen Tauro, Wilson Pinto (Social Cause Secretary, ICYM Mangalore Diocese), and Sharvin Dsouza (PRO, ICYM Mangalore Diocese).
Joyson Dsouza, President of ICYM Puttur Deanery, welcomed the attendees. Anson Monteiro, Secretary, presented the annual report, and Joyson Dsouza followed with the financial report for 2024-2025.

Election of New Office Bearers:
Wilson Pinto and Sharvin Dsouza oversaw the election process, outlining the responsibilities for each position. The following individuals were elected to the executive committee for 2025-2026:

* Vice President: Flavia Dsouza, Nidpalli
* Secretary: Ann Mavina Pinto, Puttur
* Joint Secretary: Joyal Fernandes, Uppinangady
* Treasurer: Joy Tony Dsouza, Sullia
* PRO/Amcho Yuvak Representative: Neha Preemal Dcruz, Uppinangady
* Red Drop Representative: Vivin Lobo, Puttur
* Cultural/Sports/Liturgical Secretary: Sunil Dsouza, Nidpalli
* Immediate Past President: Joyson Emmanuel Dsouza, Puttur

Transition and Speeches:
Following the election, Rev. Fr. Rupesh Raveen Tauro administered the oath ceremony, and the outgoing 2024-2025 executive committee members transferred their responsibilities to the newly elected team.
Joyson Dsouza expressed gratitude for the support received during his presidency.
The newly elected President, Kevin Almeida, and Secretary, Ann Mavina Pinto, also shared their appreciation for the new opportunity.
Sharvin Dsouza, PRO of ICYM Mangalore Diocese, recounted her experience as a representative for ICYM Puttur Deanery and extended her best wishes to the new committee.

Farewell and Conclusion:
A felicitation program was held for Fr. Rupesh Raveen Tauro, ICYM Puttur Deanery Director, wishing him well for his future missionary work.
The program was emceed by Ann Mavina Pinto, and Anson Monteiro delivered the vote of thanks.
