Mangaluru, Jan 24 : On the auspicious morning of January 24, 2024, St. Sebastian Church in Bendur bore witness to a solemn Eucharistic Thanksgiving, a sacred mass led by Most Rev. William D'Souza, the Archbishop Emeritus of the Patna Archdiocese. This spiritual gathering, commencing at 8:45 am, was specifically orchestrated to channel divine grace towards the Grade X students as they approached the threshold of their impending examinations.

Joined in this spiritual endeavor was Fr. Vivian Rodrigues, contributing to the spiritual elevation of the Theresian family. United in prayer, the community sought the benevolence of the Almighty, imploring for the empowerment of these students to uphold virtuous values, embody essential principles, and metamorphose into compassionate individuals.

At 10:15 am, the students embarked on a pilgrimage to the Bethany Generalate, a sacred sanctuary where they sought the blessings of the esteemed Superior General, Sr. Rose Celine. With profound devotion, Sr. Rose Celine individually prayed for each student, bestowing upon them her divine blessings. Following this sacred encounter, the students proceeded to the founders' cottage, engaging in heartfelt prayers for their own well-being and success.

At 11:00 a.m heralded a momentous gathering of students within the hallowed halls, assembling to receive blessings from the revered teachers of the school. The principal, Sr. Lourdes, led the assembly in a poignant prayer, encouraging the students to become beacons of light wherever their paths may lead. A unique and touching ritual unfolded as each teacher, in turn, bestowed individual blessings upon the students.

This Eucharistic Thanksgiving culminated in a day of profound significance for the Grade X students, etching indelible memories and spiritual fortitude within their hearts. The harmonious blend of prayer, guidance, and communal support rendered this day a cornerstone in their academic and spiritual journey.
