Pothnal - Raichur, July 24 : St. Clare's Church joyfully celebrated its Annual Feast on July 23rd, 2025, with great fervor and devotion. The Festal Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr. Franklin D'Souza, Youth Director of the Diocese of Shimoga, as the main celebrant. Thirteen priests from the Deanery concelebrated the Holy Eucharist, adding to the solemnity of the occasion.

In his homily, Fr. Franklin D'Souza emphasized the importance of loving Lord Jesus, witnessing Him, and living a simple and humble life like St. Clare. He reflected on John 15, highlighting the need to abide in Jesus, His Word, and His love to live a life of faith. He encouraged the faithful to cling to Lord Jesus in every situation of life, seeking strength and guidance from Him.

Following his homily, Fr. Franklin D'Souza led a powerful prayer of healing, deliverance, and anointing for the faithful. This moment was a highlight of the celebration, bringing spiritual comfort and solace to the attendees.

After the Holy Mass, Parish Priest Fr. Prashanth OFM Cap. expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Franklin D'Souza and all the priests and religious who participated in the celebration. He also thanked the faithful for their contributions, which made the feast a success.

The celebration concluded with a festal meal served to all attendees at 1:30 pm, fostering a sense of community and togetherness among the parishioners.

The Annual Feast of St. Clare's Church was a resounding success, bringing the community together in prayer, fellowship, and celebration.
