Indonesia , August 9, 2017 : The 7th Asian Youth Day was held at Jog Jakarta - Sumarang Archdiocese of Indonesia from August 2 - 6, 2017 with the theme "Joyful Asians living the Gospel in multicultural Asia".

CBCI National Youth Council's secretary Rev. Fr. Deepak KJ Thomas led the indian delegation with 3 Bishops and 83 youth and animators. Fr. Franklin D'Souza, former Secretary for CBCI Office for youth preached the recollection for the 200 Animators and led the adoration on 6th August.

More than 2,000 young people from 21 Asian countries participated in this great event.
