Mangaluru, March 11 : "Creativity is seeing what everyone else has seen and thinking what no one else has thought" - Albert Einstein

To bring out and exhibit the inherent, inbuilt talents of the Lourdites, Lourdes Central School organized LCS talent show under the guidance of the Principal Rev Fr Robert D Souza at Bejai Church Hall from 8.30am to 12.30pm. The school came up with “LCS GOT TALENT” for class IV and V, the students got an opportunity to put forward their heart winning performance, with various events like singing, dancing, rap, mimicry, playing musical instruments, yoga, asanas, martial arts and much more. Culture was present in every art form like yakshagana, bharatnatyam.

They started the prestigious event by invoking God's blessings with the prayer followed by the prayer song led by the choir group.

Fr Principal in his message encouraged the students on the importance of multi-tasking talents and overall growth of the Lourdites, and how they can balance their academics with their special interests and talents. As light dispels darkness, the traditional light of the lamp was done by Rev. Fr Robert D'souza, Rev. Fr. Anush D'chuna, Ms Belita Mascarenhes, Ms Shanti along with some of the Lourdites marking the beginning of the event. Rev Fr John Baptist Saldanha, the Manager and Rev Fr Suraj Lobo were also a part of this beautiful event.

Children are like sprouting seeds who need care and guidance at every step. Along with the school management, the parents and the teachers also poured out their heart and love for this event to guide their children.

The programme ended with vote of thanks by Aiden DSouza of class IV.

It was a memorable event where all students took part with great cheer and enthusiasm.
