Mangaluru, Sep 25 : St Theresa’s school conducted Career Options Series - II on Thursday, 23 September 2021, for Grade X students of the school.

A career guidance session was organized by the school Management for the students of grade X . The session began with a warm welcome and the introduction of the resource person Miss Megan, by the faculty Mrs. Sangeeta Fernandes.

Miss Megan, a postgraduate in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics, is currently working at Samvada Mangalore YRC, as a Junior Youth Mentor. She has addressed the youth on several occasions. She has conducted a session at St Aloysius College about the Model United Nations in 2019, a session at St. Agnes as well as in Aloysius PU College on sustainability and also addressed the women of Mangalore Club on Women’s day in 2021 on Sustainability.

Miss Megan shared her valuable knowledge with the grade X students. She spoke about many career opportunities and also explained how they can be discovered within a short span of time which helped the students to make the most important decision of their life. She advised the students on choosing the correct profession which would bring the best out of them.

The session concluded with the vote of thanks by Sinora, a student of Grade X. It was indeed a fruitful session.
