Mangaluru : CODP distributes Covid-19 Relief program Food-kits to needy families

Mangaluru, June 25 : Since 27th April 2021, the State Government has declared lockdown in order to break the fast spreading chain of Coronavirus. This indeed has affected the lives of many; as a result poverty has increased. People have lost their lives and livelihood.

In the month of June 2021, CODP® has extended its services to the Churches of Mangalore Diocese to distribute the food-kits and help the needy families. CODP, as a Diocesan NGO, has supported the following parishes in this month, viz. Fermai, Pavoor, Sampaje, Allipade, Ammembal, Panja and Thokur.

Apart from 50 families supported at CODP and 290 families at Dalit colonies, the total number of families supported at the above parishes is 314. This kind act of charity has helped the poor to survive and battle against this pandemic.
