Mangaluru, June 25, 2021 : Someshwar aged 18 who was living a colorful life as a boy, a kind hearted, jovial in his words and deeds, loved by everyone had a black cloud in his life.

Gradually there was great change in his behavior and everyone felt sad about it. The family consulted doctors, necessary care was taken but he was not improving.

One fine day about 4 year back, he disappeared from his house. His whereabouts were not known. The family left no stones unturned to find him. A missing complaint was lodged in the local police station.

The family members lost all hopes as many times they were called to identify the dead bodies found in the locality assuming it was their missing boy.

On 7th December 2018, Snehalaya team found a boy roaming by the roadside at Manjanady and was causing problems to the people around that area.

The Snehalaya team picked him, brought him to Snehalaya, provided all basic needs, care, love and shelter. He responded to medical treatment. He started taking active part in all the activities. His entry to Snehalaya was the turning point in his life. During counseling he revealed his address, that he hails from Belagavi, Athani.

The Snehalaya team contacted his family on 22nd June 2021 and the family was overjoyed to hear the good news of Someshwar's existence. Someshwar's family members visited Snehalaya and took him back to their family and successfully reunited him with his family after 4 years.
